Gentile hike up from the NY side. 3/4 mile hike. Plenty of parking. Dogs on leashes. Just an all around nice short day
This park is on the New York and Massachusetts border; with access from both states . Park in the NY lot for a relaxing walk to the base of the falls, then take a short drive up the road and park in the MA lot for an amazing view from atop the Falls.
Great place for a hike with family and friends, any season! Trail connects the falls to Taconic State Park pond, perfect for a summer afternoon.
Beautiful falls. Short hike to the view although it can be a little steep at places for those who don't like any hills. Isn't a gruelling hike though. I recommend a visit to this beautiful park

Although Bash Bish Falls is lovely and serene; the area should be respected as there are some challenging hiking areas and swimming near the Falls could be extremely dangerous. Swimming is prohibited for a reason.
Great views. Great to visit in the fall but sure at any other time is good!
